Is there an option to register my account on mobile website?
You can register for Hays Connect access using the mobile portal or the desktop site. Please activate your account using the mobile or desktop registration links provided on the registration email using a desktop computer or web enabled portable device.
When can I use the mobile portal?
The mobile portal will be available for you to use once you have registered and activated your account using a desktop computer or the mobile site using a web enabled portable device.
What do I do if I forget my password?
On the login page you will see the 'Forgotten password?' link. When you tap on this link you will be prompted to enter your User ID & email address. Follow the instructions on page to verify your identity. If successful, an email will be sent to your email address with a link to reset your password. Follow the steps on the email to complete the password reset.
What if I lock my account or forget my security answer?

How do I submit timesheet?
Once successfully logged into the mobile portal, you will automatically default to the Enter Time view. You will need to select the required week ending date from the drop down list and then select the appropriate assignment for which you intend to submit time for. Then enter your hours / days as appropriate and select from the list of authorisers whom you wish to submit your timesheet to. Accept the terms and condidions and then click ‘Submit’.
When do I submit timesheet?
You should complete your timesheets weekly and ideally before Monday to allow time for timesheet authorisation and payment processing. Please note the timesheet needs to be authorized no later than midday Tuesday.
How do I view my timesheet?
You have the option of searching for the last 12 previous weekending dates in ‘Enter Time’ mode. For full functionality please use a desktop computer with the full site link
My timesheet has been approved but I did not enter all the hours I worked. What should I do?
If you notice that you need to enter additional hours onto a timesheet after that timesheet has been submitted and authorised, you can simply go back into the original timesheet and create new rows for the extra hours that you want to add, using the ‘Add’ function.
Please note that you will not be able to change the hours that have already been authorised, you will only be able to add additional hours by creating a new row.
My employer has rejected my timesheet. What should I do?
When the employer rejects your timesheet they are prompted to give an explanation for the rejection. You may need to discuss with your employer what changes to the timesheet are required.
There are two ways in which your employer can reject your timesheet:
i. Your employer can ‘Reject for Resubmission’ your timesheet – in this case you can simply change the original timesheet as necessary and click ‘Resubmit’.
ii. Your employer can ‘Reject’ your timesheet – in this case you will need to create and submit a new timesheet.
I have entered time for a day I did not work by mistake. How do I fix this?
If you know that your timesheet is waiting for approval, then simply ask your employer to reject the timesheet for resubmission and you can then make the necessary correction to the timesheet and resubmit it for approval. If your employer has already approved the timesheet, you will need to contact our service centre on 0203 727 2977.
My timesheet authoriser is on holiday. How do I get my timesheet approved?
To send your timesheet to a different approver, simply navigate to the appropriate timesheet and slected from main or alternate approvers to select the person that you want to send the timesheet to and click ‘Submit’.
I cannot see the weekending date to enter my timesheet.

How do I submit my expenses?
The mobile portal does not support submittal of mileage expenses right now but we are working on this for the future. For full functionality please use a desktop computer or web enabled portable device with the full site link.
What do I do if I cannot see the company name for the timesheet I need to submit?
Please contact your Hays consultant.
What do I do if my employer does not receive their hays connect login?
Please ask your employer to contact their Hays Consultant.
What do I do if my employer cannot see my timesheet to autorise?
Firstly, you should check that you have correctly submitted your timesheet for authorisation.
You can do this by logging onto the mobile portal and in ‘Enter Time’ mode select the week ending date of the timesheet to check the status.
If the timesheet is showing as ‘Awaiting Approval’ then you should check which Approver you have chosen to send the timesheet to. If you have submitted your timesheet to the wrong approver then simply select the name of the employer you want to send your timesheet to using the drop down list and click ‘Submit’.
If your employer still cannot see your timesheet then you should ask them to contact their Hays Consultant.
How do I book holiday?
Navigate to the 'Update Profile' tab and tap on 'My Holidays'. Select the 'Holiday Booking' option and use the calendar to choose your dates and enter the respective hours and tap on Submit.
How do I review my holiday balance?
Navigate to the 'Update Profile' tab and tap on 'My Holidays'. Select the 'Holiday statement' option. This will show you how many hours you have accrued, paid, balance available and booked.
How do I review the holiday I have booked?
Navigate to the 'Update Profile' tab and tap on 'My Holidays'. Select the 'Holiday booked' option. This will show the days that have been booked.
How do I cancel a holiday booking?
Navigate to the 'Update Profile' tab and tap on 'My Holidays'. Select the 'Holiday booked' option. Tick 'Cancel?' for the respective dates you wish to cancel and tap on Submit.
What are cookies?

What is data allowance?
Whenever you use the internet on your mobile you use data whether it's reading a web page, sending an email, or submitting / approving timesheets in hays connect. With your mobile broadband service provider, you buy a data allowance which is used up when you're online.
If you do not consent to this you should connect via Wi-Fi as much as you can to save using 3G data. Hays will not be held responsible for the volumes of data you use on our web sites.
